Summer Planning

Summer is just around the corner. Graduation is only days away. Vacations are planned. We have seen glimpses of the heat of summer. It is a great time for families to spend time together and enjoy being outdoors. It is a time when we can find ourselves having a great time and extremely busy. Don’t let the busyness of life to get you distracted from those things that matter greatly. In order to stay in a close relationship with God during this time you can do just a few small things that will make a huge difference.First,  many of us love to read and summer time is a great time to do some extra reading. Pick books that will help you grow in Christ and challenge you. A suggest reading list is below. Second, make the commitment attend your small group Sunday School and LIFEgroup. This time investment brings huge results. Third, participate in an event that helps people. Give something away. Third, take a walk and reflect on the beauty of God’s creation. Fourth, find a devotional that will last you all summer and make sure you read it daily. Lastly, worship with your faith family. Stayiing connected is so important to the life of any faith family. I hope this helps you enjoy this summer and stay focused.
